1. The monthly service
Monthly Retail Intelligence Advisory is offered from $1,400 per month in USD. The starting scope is for one retail business and includes one focused monthly intelligence briefing, one scheduled strategy discussion of up to 60 minutes, and written priorities or decision notes. The topic boundaries and the next month’s priorities are agreed for the engagement.
The service is not unlimited research, continuous real-time monitoring, on-demand software support, store operations, campaign management, or implementation. Additional workshops, brands, channels, primary research, or extra deliverables must be separately scoped. The other catalog services are ordinarily one-time engagements unless a written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
2. No enrollment through the website form
The local brief form does not enroll you in a subscription, set up an account, create an invoice, or authorize a charge. Selecting the monthly service as a consultation focus is an expression of interest only. The confirmation states that the brief is ready to be sent by you; it is not evidence that Brentorin Chapter received an order.
A monthly engagement starts only after the parties accept a written scope and confirm its first service period, fee, payment timing, deliverables, and renewal arrangement. A consultation inquiry does not create a trial subscription or convert into a paid monthly plan. There is no hidden free-to-paid conversion in this design.
3. The required billing disclosure
Before you authorize payment, the engagement and payment request should state the amount due, currency, any applicable tax, the service period covered, the due date, the billing entity, and how to ask a question or cancel future cycles. If the engagement will recur, the frequency, renewal date or method for determining it, and cancellation deadline must be clear.
Any minimum commitment, separately charged expense, unusual setup fee, or limitation on an introductory price must be disclosed before acceptance. None is created by this policy or the published starting price alone. A recurring feature should not be obscured within unrelated terms or inferred from silence.
4. Payment methods and credentials
The form allows a prospective client to indicate a preference for a U.S. credit or debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or U.S. ACH bank transfer. These are discussion preferences, not a representation that every option has been activated. Actual availability and any processor-specific terms are confirmed on the payment request.
Payment credentials must be provided only through the separately arranged appropriate payment channel. Do not send card security codes, complete card numbers, bank access credentials, or passwords in a project brief. Brentorin Chapter does not collect those details through the website form. The form does not test a card, reserve funds, or schedule a transfer.
5. Renewal and affirmative authorization
Monthly advisory does not automatically renew under the website alone. The parties may agree a renewal by a new written confirmation or may separately agree a recurring arrangement. Any recurring billing must follow a clear disclosure and the client’s affirmative authorization before a charge is taken.
The amount, frequency, service period, and cancellation route should remain available to the client. A selected consultation topic, a prepared summary, acceptance of unrelated marketing, or a failure to respond is not adequate authorization for a new recurring charge. Applicable federal and state requirements govern the transaction where they apply; this policy does not assert that a proposed or superseded rule is in force.
6. Ending a future cycle
You may instruct us not to renew a future cycle by contacting strategy@brentorinchapter.com directly before the relevant renewal or billing date, subject to a more protective legal right or agreed term. Include enough information to identify the engagement and state whether you want to end future cycles or also raise an issue with current work.
The cancellation process should be straightforward and should not require unnecessary steps, a new purchase, or an undisclosed advance-notice period. A request does not need to use particular legal language. A local brief-preparation confirmation does not reach us, so it must not be relied on as a transmitted cancellation request. Keep a copy of your direct notice.
7. Current periods, prepaid periods, and refunds
A cancellation of future cycles does not automatically reverse an authorized charge for a current cycle already provided as agreed. Conversely, a prepaid future cycle that will not be delivered should not be retained simply because the service is monthly. An undelivered or materially incomplete current cycle should be assessed according to the actual work, the agreement, and applicable rights.
The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the treatment of unperformed work, corrections, approved costs, and refund processing. Any calculation should distinguish the service performed from future work not performed. There is no blanket no-refund statement that overrides a legal remedy or excuses unauthorized billing.
8. Price changes and changes in scope
A published starting-price update does not automatically change the fee for an already agreed service period. A change to the monthly price, deliverables, or billing frequency should be communicated before the affected period and accepted or authorized where required. If you do not wish to continue on changed terms, you should be able to end future cycles before they are charged.
If a requested addition falls outside the monthly scope, the parties should agree whether to replace an existing item, add a separate project, or change a future monthly scope. No overage fee, hourly charge, or additional recurring amount is created merely because a client asks a question.
9. Failed payments, pauses, and records
If an agreed payment fails or remains overdue, contact is needed to establish the issue and the effect on the service. We may pause work where permitted by the accepted terms after appropriate notice. An interruption does not authorize undisclosed late fees, repeated attempts beyond the agreed authorization, or a charge for an unapproved service.
Billing records should identify the service period, amount, payment status, and any refund or correction. The client should keep a copy of accepted scopes, authorization, invoices, and cancellation correspondence. If a payment appears duplicated, incorrect, or unauthorized, raise it promptly through direct correspondence and any lawful provider dispute route.
10. Information, business days, and rights
Monthly schedules and discussion dates should be arranged in writing. Business-day references ordinarily mean Monday through Friday excluding applicable U.S. public holidays. This website does not promise a specific response time, a reserved appointment, or uninterrupted access to a manager.
Missouri law and any other applicable nonwaivable protections continue to apply. Nothing in this policy limits a lawful billing dispute, cancellation right, or remedy for deceptive conduct. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively create authorization. The date at the top identifies the current version, and the full catalog below distinguishes the monthly price from one-time starting fees.
Published service prices
These are starting prices for the scopes in the service catalog, in U.S. dollars. Final scope, applicable taxes, approved expenses, payment timing, and delivery dates are confirmed in writing before an engagement begins. The monthly advisory fee is a monthly starting price; all other listed starting fees are for one-time engagements.
